Dusty Rose Vintage is a mission-based business, dedicated to circularity and sustainability in the fashion industry.  

In Greenpoint, Brooklyn since 2008, Dusty Rose has sold vintage, hosted markets and fundraisers, designed workshops, and incubated growing brands that share a commitment to ecological and humanitarian principles.

Founder, Maresa Ponitch, has two decades of garment experience. She began her career in Urban Outfitters’ vintage and reconstructed clothing department, then transitioned to build wholesale vintage operations at two of the largest textile recyclers on the East Coast.  

After witnessing the rapid creep of fast fashion in this industry, in 2019, Maresa started Gold Dust, a sustainability event series, to jumpstart a cultural conversation about fast fashion and the dangers it poses to our environment.
