Dusty Rose Vintage is a mission-based business rooted in circularity, sustainability, and creative collaboration. Since opening in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2008, Dusty Rose has grown from a vintage warehouse into a hub for community events, fundraisers, workshops, and brand incubations that share a commitment to ecological and humanitarian values.

Founder Maresa Ponitch brings over two decades of industry experience—from her early days at Urban Outfitters’ vintage and reconstructed department to leading wholesale operations at two of the largest textile recyclers on the East Coast. Along the way, she’s developed a distinct voice in sustainable fashion, helping brands refine their vision and connect with culture in meaningful ways.

In 2019, she launched Gold Dust, an event series designed to ignite conversations around fast fashion, foster community, and inspire change. Today, Maresa continues to consult with emerging and established businesses while producing mission-driven events that bridge sustainability, style, and cultural conversations.
