Earth Week Workshop Schedule

If you've been meaning to take a trip out, next week is a great time to visit.  We're VERY proud to bring this roster of earth friendly workshops (and even an eco Pop Up to boot!) to the warehouse for Earth Week.  Come relax with some adult beverages and have some fun learning with us.

4/21  7 - 9:30 pm  Hi Wildflower Botanica Perfume Workshop

Learn the natural Perfumer's craft while creating your own signature scent - We'll be sniffing Top, Heart and Base notes, scent families, perfume accords, carrier oils, and perfume history.

We'll be smelling, taking notes, discussing our perceptions and the vibe of each scent created in class.  Compare how unique your personal tastes are!

4/22  7:30 - 10 pm  Clyde's Rebirth Metal Stamping Jewelry Workshop

Using eco friendly pieces learn the tricks and trade of customizing vintage brass pendants into personalized necklaces.  Master the art of jump rings and metal stamping with the help of liquid patience.

4/23  7 - 9:30 pm  Aurora Botanica Natural + Indigo Dye Workshop

Learn how to dye fabrics using vegetables + flowers, the flower bundle technique / flower smashing plus indigo dye using shibori techniques.

The class includes fabric yardage that can be used as a throw, sarong or even a top or dress!  Plus you can bring up to 3 of your own pieces to dye as well.  What better time to spruce up that spring wardrobe?

4/25  11 - noon  Pretty Streets Botanicals Edible Flower + Companion Planting Workshop

Have a mimosa while exploring the culinary possibilities of edible flowers and herbs.  We will start seeds, make flower seed bombs and create a beautiful planting based on companion pairing of edible flowers and herbs. Everyone will go home with seed bombs, seed starts and a planted pot ready to put on the windowsill.  Stop saying you're going to start a window garden and actually do it!

4/26  3:30 - 5:30 pm  BTW Ceramics Pinch Bowl WorkshopLearn how to hand sculpt ceramic pinch bowls with veteran Brooke Winfrey.  Choose from a selection of food safe glazes to decorate your masterpieces.  Brooke will fire your creations and mail them out within three weeks.
